Overview The Early Aviation Photograph Collection is a collection of unknown origins consisting of 328 prints and 299 negatives, all black-and-white, primarily depicting aircraft from the first half of the 20th century. Some airships, airports, pilots, and other subjects are also represented in the images.

Overview Alan Lonsdale Patterson worked extensively in the field of aviation from the 1920s to the 1980s. Throughout his career he worked as a barnstormer, pilot and established multiple companies that facilitated the sale of aircraft and aeronautical equipment, predominately between companies based in the United States and China.
